We are looking for an Android Developer and Application Tester to join our team of developers! We want a developer that possesses passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits. You will work with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications. And As an Application Developer, you will design and code functional programs and applications. You will work both as part of the team and individually. And As a Application Tester at our company, you will have the opportunity to work on new and exciting projects and develop your career.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Should have good / Fair experience in object - oriented programming.
Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Excellent technical knowledge of Java for Android, Android SDKs, Third-party SDKs.
Work with UI/ UX designers to innovate new user experiences
Should have knowledge of using Android Studio & Eclipse Good debugging skills
Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen size
Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, Terminal, EMV, payments and emerging technologies
Should have knowledge on POS applications and different payment gateways.
Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
Proven work experience in design patterns mobile architecture using frameworks such as MVVM/MVC/MVP
Demonstrated experience in developing and deploying high - volume , Multi-tiered, distributed mission critical application.
Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Understand clients' applications requirements
Identify key application features
Work with other IT professionals to set specifications for new applications
Design creative prototypes based on specifications
Write high quality source code to program complete applications within deadlines
Perform unit and integration testing before launch
Troubleshoot applications
Find bugs and offer timely solutions
Test existing applications, identify deficiencies and offer solutions.
analyzing users stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility
collaborate closely with other team members and departments
execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression)
Design and develop automation scripts when needed
Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies
Provide timely solutions
Apply quality engineering principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle
Provide support and documentation
Desired Candidate Profile:
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
2+ years of software development experience
2+ years of experience in designing and building applications
2+years of Android & App development
Have published at least one original Android app
Experience with Android SDK
Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
