Job Description

We are hiring Assistant Fashion Designer for one of the leading fashion studio based at Juhu::

Position: Assistant Fashion Designer

Experience: 6 months - 1 year

Industry: fashion/ Textile/ Garment

Key skills required: Market analysis and trend forecasting, designing, pattern making, range development, understanding of costing. In other words, this candidate would play a leading role in the development of the design: from the concept to the final product.

Primary role:

1. Creating artworks by following forecasting reports, trend reports and runway direction. Creating Mood boards, Dockets, style sheets for the same

2. Sketching detailed drawings of apparel, and write specifications such as color schemes, construction, material types, and accessory requirements. Should be good with freehand drawing and converting the same in Adobe Photoshop/ other design softwares

3. Select materials and production techniques to be used for products.

4. Work closely with the sampling team. Examine sample garments on and off models; then modify designs to achieve desired effects.

Qualification: Any Degree in fashion designing( Diploma holders need not to apply)

06 months to 1 year of experience . some experience in the women western wear category will be added advantage.

Job Location: Juhu, Mumbai

Candidate should be comfortable for travelling to Juhu.

English fluency is must.

Salary : Rs. 13,000/- to Rs.18,000/- per month( depend upon the experience)
