• The EcoStruxure Plant Competency Centre(ESxCC) is a team of highly experienced professional engineers with the missionto provide high level technical consulting services.
• These services cover the system andarchitectural design of EcoStruxure Plant solutions. The team operates internationally with basesin Asia, Europe, and the Americas (Regional Consultants).
• The RegionalConsulants is the team that Schneider industry engineers in the countries look tofor assistance with some of the most complex customer demands, create projectreference for strategic new offer of Schneider and in parallel to developtechnical local autonomy in country organization for that specific new offer.
• The Regional Consultants must be capable tohandle these demands, work with L3, and country engineers and systemintegrators to develop solutions which meet our customer s expectations.
• The Regional Consultant team isstructured to reflect the senior nature of its members. All Regional Consultant members bring manyyears of system and software implementation experience and have achieved a highlevel of expertise in their chosen disciplines.
• This experience is reflected in the ability of team members to manage ahigh level of autonomy and decision making aligned to the team mission.
• Inside Regional consultant team, theteam has EcoStruxure Automation Expert Regional Consultant
• As experts, EcoStruxure AutomationExpert regional consultant members exhibit strength in one or more EcoStruxurePlant disciplines.
• Secure, open, interoperable, and modular control system. IEC61499 standard (event driven, object oriented and distributed approach)
• Modern Engineering tool with specific characteristic such as asset centric model, single line engineering, single system application, system orchestration
• Process knowledge in Consumer Packages Good (CPG) and material handling
• IIOT application solutions
• Operational Management (SCADA, Historian, MES, Batch, Asset management, Alarm management, edge computing, Wonderware/ Aveva software suite)
• Controls and Connectivity (PAC s, Industrial networking, IIoT)
• Cybersecurity (system protection)
• Field Devices (Motor Control, iMCC, Instrumentation, Power meters)
• Responsibilities in the execution of major project, pilot project for the country and in parallel to develop local technical autonomy.
• Established connections with Industry leaders

Primary Purpose :

• The ESxCC software- Centric Automation Regional Consultantwill collaborate with the country organisations during the opportunity pre-salesand project execution phases.
• The Consultant s value-add is to assist thecountry to ensure that EcoStruxure Plant systems are specified, correctly proposed,designed, developed and commissioned to a high level of quality that meets thecustomer s requirements.
• The ESxCC Consultant will strive to maintain anexceptionally high level of technical expertise in one or more disciplines ofthe EcoStruxure Plant domain and to broaden their expertise across multiple disciplines.

Key Tasks:

• Promote EcoStruxureAutomation Expert solution technical benefits.
• Provide technicalassistance to Schneider local pre-sales (ESx Architect, SAE, ADE) and projectpersonnel (system integrators, OEM, Process OEM and direct project team) atbidding EcoStruxure Automation Expert solution projects.
• Assist the execution of thekey client projects (direct and indirect)
• Provide knowledge transferto Internal team Delivery, Schneider country organisations and channels (systemintegrators, Process OEM) through delivery of expert level design engineering, mentoring and coaching Schneider local technical resources. Theobjective is to develop local technical autonomy in the country for thisspecific solution EcoStruxure Automation Expert.
• Assist in the creation of technicalmaterial, technical guides, whitepapers, knowledge based articles, etc.

Other Stakeholders:

• No permanent direct reports.
• May be assigned country SAE and or ADE (Application Design Engineer) and or other Consultants to execute internal and through channels projects on a needs basis.

Areas ofResponsibility:

Technical Expertise

• Have extensive automation systems engineering experience to understand the needs of application solutions.
• Maintain deep understanding of the capabilities of one or more of the EcoStruxure disciplines:
• Secure, open, interoperable, and modular control system. IEC61499 standard (event driven, object oriented and distributed approach)
• Modern Engineering tool with specific characteristic such as asset centric model, single- line engineering, single system application, system orchestration
• IIOT application solutions
• Operational Management (SCADA, Historian, MES, Batch, Asset management, Alarm management, edge computing, Wonderware/ Aveva software suite)
• Controls and Connectivity (PAC s, Industrial networking, IIoT)
• Cyber-security (system protection)
• Field Devices (Motor Control, iMCC, Instrumentation, Power meters)

Maintain and develop deep understanding of the process control architectures of one or more of the Industry segments targeted for EcoStruxure Automation Expert:

• Consumer Package Goods (CPG)
• Material Handling
• Other segment that EcoStruxure Automation Expert will target in future
• Strive to continually expand technical knowledge of the EcoStruxure system and architectures
• Be recognised both internally and externally as a system and software architecture expert with Schneider EcoStruxure systems
• Feedback from channels (system integrators/ Proces OEM) and Country SAE and or ADE managers and also internal project team
• Completion of professional development plan

Knowledge Transfer

• Give example of technical work in the context of a project to develop EcoStruxure Automation Expert system and architecture skills in country teams
• Distribute application notes and success stories targeting system and architecture knowledge
• Provide coaching and mentoring to ESx Architect, SAE s/ ADE in country teams
• Support the execution of critical projects
• Texpert Course feedback

Develop a Strong Technical Connection with Schneider Countries

• Form close working relationships with Country technical sales and project personnel in order to provide timely and accurate technical contribution on opportunities and projects.

• Participate in user conferences, and industry conferences to promote the EcoStruxure Automation Expert values and benefits.
• Feedback from Country SAE/ ADE managers and internal project Team

Pre-Sales

• Deliver consultancy services to country organization in pre-sales activities such as joint visit, presentation and demonstration.
• Assist ESx Architect, SAE s/ ADE to identify the customer s functional requirements and map to EcoStruxure Automation Expert system capabilities.
• Assist country organization to validate proposed system architecture and technical proposal to meet the customer s requirements
• Extend the scope of project becoming IIOT application solution project by promoting apps/ advisors that has close relation with improvement of profit engine for customer
• Active Quotation portfolio
• Contribution to order booking

Critical Project Execution Support

• Gather, define, and document system requirements through the running of end user requirement sessions and system integrator/ channels workshops with the local System Architect
• Assist system architects to ensure the end user requirements are aligned with EcoStruxure Automation Expert system capabilities and represented in the developed system.
• Assist the system integrator/ channel or Industry Leader during project execution with creating draft application/ prototype application (case by case), design reviews, design of critical portions, resolve issues with a focus to high quality implementations.
• Assist during Factory Acceptance Tests and commissioning to promote quality and customer acceptance.
• Write application notes and success stories
• Reduced support problems with commissioned projects

• Knowledge transfer sessions to Country organisations and Industry Leaders

Communication Knowledge Management:

• Contribute to improving Engineering Capabilities/Processes by sharing knowledge and ideas
• Conduct all communications in a professional manner
• Produce technical papers with solid content.
• Maintain close relationship and provide feedback to Product Offer Marketing
• Continually contribute content IP into the Schneider methodology and knowledge base.

The Ideal Candidate:

• You have worked 5 years designing, engineering and commissioning Industrial automation systems with a solid system integrator experience and now you are looking for that next step to add to your professional development.
• You have a solid process knowledge and project experience in CPG (Consumer Package Goods) and Material Handling
• You have a solid experience of secure, open, interoperable, modular control system that is upgradeable without production loss. Have a solid experience with IEC61499 standard (event driven, object oriented and distributed approach).
• You have a solid experience of Modern Engineering tool with special characteristic such as asset centric model, single-line engineering, single system application, system orchestration.
• Also, you have a solid experience of Distributed Control System (DCS) concept and implementation.
• You have solid experience of software integration specially with Aveva Integration (Aveva System Platform, Aveva Batch Management, Aveva Historian) and you excel assembling software bricks to match a customer requirement.

Key Skills Experience Essential Desirable Qualifications

Experience

• Demonstrated automation domain expertise in one or more industry segments; specially in Consumer Packages Good (CPG) and Material Handling 
• 5 years working experience in automation system integration and architecture roles with Schneider automation products and services.
