About the Role:
Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, drawings, and specifications. • Preparing or checking complete and accurate 3D Inventor fabrication drawings of steel transmission and utility structures as designed by engineering personnel.
Drafter Job Description: Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, drawings and specifications.
- Preparing or checking complete and accurate 3D Inventor fabrication drawings of steel transmission and utility structures as designed by engineering personnel.
- Utilizing Engineering information, manufacturing parameters and customers technical specifications to create/check drawings.
- Hands on Assembly and Part Modelling, Fabrication/ Machining drawing, Modelling using any 3D modelling software (Like Autodesk Inventor, Solid Works, Inventor, CATIA, UG etc.). Preferably Autodesk Inventor
- Adheres to and has sound knowledge of all Drafting Dept. standards, policies and processes.
Job Role
- Creating part numbers for standard and custom parts.
- Updating and revising all drawings when changes are made to engineered designs.
- Documenting all notes, engineering changes, customer requests, etc.
- Completing jobs or checking on time based on the Drafting schedule.
- Training and assisting all new drafting personnel. • Professional and efficient English verbal and written communication skills • Basic understanding of drafting principles.
- Strong math skills. • High attention to detail and effective organization. Desired
candidate Profile
- Btech Mechanical Freshers with good knowledge in AutoCAD, Solid works
- Qualification: Diploma+ Btech Mechanical Engineering with 1-2 yrs experience is preferred. OR Diploma with 4-5 yrs relevant experience is preferred.
- Candidate should have good communication skills.
