FOAA is seeking a Financial Analyst to support our Fixed Assets team. This position will support management in all aspects of financial accounting, reporting systems, procedures, and policies which includes performing month end activities that include closing of sub ledgers, general ledger account reconciliations, reporting and balance sheet account analysis.
Successful candidate will also ensure appropriate financial policies, procedures, and internal controls are in place, documented, and operating as intended.
This position will also play an important role in promoting systems/process development within the department to ensure ongoing efficiency and control improvements. The successful candidate will have a strong desire to innovate processes and exceed expectations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Knowledge & Skills/ Business Acumen/ Education & Experience –
1) CA qualification is a requirement
2) Prior experience in Retail or Market Place or Financial Retail Services is recommended
3) Strong interpersonal skills — including written and oral communication skills.
4) Zeal towards operational excellence/process improvement & simplifications
5) Excellent knowledge of financial controls and procedures
6) Advanced level Excel and knowledge of SQL will be preferred
7) Experience of Oracle and Blackline Reconciliation tool. Flexible, adaptable, well organized
8) Knowledge of Six Sigma defect reduction techniques (Lean, etc.) preferred
9) Should have strong team skills and Self-motivated, enthusiastic and highly energetic.
Additional Information
Basic Qualifications
- Experience using data to influence business decisions
- CA with 0-4yrs of post-qualification experience in Month end closing of Books of accounts / working on various Sub-ledgers / Accounting Knowledge / Balance sheet Reconciliation & Reporting activities
- Knowledge of standard software including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL and VBA skills
- Experience in corporate finance including budgeting/planning, forecasting and reporting is a plus.

- Well versed with excel
