We are a Product Engineering company with offices in Hyd, Bangalore, Pune, Noida, and USA locations.

We have our products which are into Healthcare, E-Commerce, Big Data, and Cyber Security platforms with more than 500+ employees in India. At Hyderabad, we are around 250+ employees.

Currently, we are setting up a new core Data Engineering team at the Hyderabad location, We are bringing an end-end product development project from the scratch.

For this, we are looking for Scala/ Spark/ Java/ ReactJS/ SDET developers with 0-10 years of strong development experience.

Detailed Job Description:

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum 2+ years of working experience in Big Data platforms and/or highly scalable distributed computing.
• Experience with Spark Core/ Spark Streaming (at least 1 year) - Must
• Solid in the Functional programming language (Scala/ Java8 - 1st Preference OR Python - 2nd Preference) and capable of learning new languages quickly.
• Experience working on the cutting-edge Big Data storage systems and technologies like Hadoop, AWS S3, Apache Spark, Storm/Heron, Cassandra, Apache Kafka, etc.
• Experience building large-scale distributed systems with high availability
• Combined experience with at least one of Kafka/Solr/ElasticSearch/Cassandra
• Strong investigative and problem-solving skills

Roles & Responsibilities:

• We're looking for Big Data engineers who have previously worked on delivering scalable backend distributed systems, big data platforms, and data pipeline and streaming systems.
• Develop data processing pipelines, data storage, and management architecture.
• We deal with huge amounts of data at a massive scale, so we are looking for engineers who love solving challenging problems through conducting independent research and collaborating with teams across Apple to help improve the overall mapping experience.
• You'll be working on a unique and challenging big data ecosystem with focuses on storage efficiency, data security, and privacy, scalable and performant queries, expandability and flexibility, etc, and with the goal to help better measure the quality of map data.
• You will work with engineers to build a big data platform that processes and manages Exabytes of data and enables efficient access to those data.
• By embracing various technologies around data file formats, codec, compression algorithms, catalog, and indexes, query optimization, and caching, we target to build the data platform to empower data-driven analysis and decision making at Apple Maps/Media Products and to improve the core product that touches millions of users worldwide each day.
• The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and proactive individual with good width and depth of related technical knowledge.
• You will face a lot of challenges and are expected to be goal-oriented and driven to deliver quality solutions in a demanding environment.
