Hindustan University is looking for Media and Entertainment- Assistant Professor Assistant Professor:
Teaching: Instruct undergraduate and/or graduate students in various courses within their field of expertise.
Research: Conduct original research, publish scholarly articles, and contribute to the academic discourse within their discipline.
Advising: Advise and mentor students, particularly those pursuing research projects or theses.
Professional Development: Engage in professional development to stay current with advancements in their field.
Grant Writing: Seek research grants and funding to support their research projects.
Service: Participate in departmental, college, or university committees, as well as engage with the broader academic community.
Tenure Process: Work toward achieving tenure by meeting specific criteria, which typically include demonstrating excellence in teaching, research, and service.
Additional Information
Associate Professor:
Teaching: Continue to instruct and mentor students while potentially taking on more advanced or specialized courses.
Research: Maintain an active research agenda, often with a stronger emphasis on leadership and publication in their field.
Advising: Continue advising and mentoring students, including those pursuing advanced degrees.
Professional Development: Stay at the forefront of their field, attending conferences and engaging in academic discourse.
Grant Writing: Seek and secure research grants and funding to support their research and potentially mentor junior faculty.
Service: Play a more significant role in academic governance, departmental leadership, and contributing to the broader academic community.
