• Takes information of discharges from Duty doctor / Team Leader
• Prepares Discharge Summary of the discharge patients
• Types discharge summary of new shifting in the ward
• Prepares certificates (rest/fit-to-fly) for surgery patients
• Types Activity Sheets Entry to eHIS
• Transcribes Echo, Radiology, Histology, Pathology reports
• Answers the patients queries regarding the discharge summary
• Answers TPA/Billing Desk queries
• Informs / calls the concerned doctor to finalize discharge summary
• Any other duties assigned by the respective Manager/Supervisor

Preferred candidate profile

• Understanding of Medical Terminology
• English comprehension and precis writing skills
• Typing Speed of 35-40 wpm
• Graduate / diploma of Medical Transcriptionist
