SIMULIA has an opening for a Model Build Engineer Intern. You should be able to leverage your technical skills to get industry knowledge and hands-on work experience by working on real industry problems. The skills gained in terms of CAD modeling, meshing, and model-build is sought after and will benefit your engineering career.
Job Role
Assist the team to develop the workflow methodologies on SIMULIA products for CAD modeling, Meshing, mid-surfacing, weld modeling
The Challenges ahead
Demonstrate the Model build capability of the SIMULIA product suite to current and potential customers in T&M, A&D, IE and HT industries
Gaining skills in terms of CAD modeling, meshing, and model-build in above industry domains
Eligibility Criteria
Must possess an aggregate of 60% in 10th / 12th / Diploma/ BE/ M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- Good understand of mechanics, optimization and finite element analysis concept
- Hands on with any simulation tools like Abaqus, ANSYS, Nastran, Dyna
- Hands on skills in CAD, Meshing, BIW, GBIW meshing & mid-surfacing, spot-weld definition
- Hands on with any preprocessing software like Hypermesh, Ansa
- Hands on with any CAD software such as CATIA, Solidworks
- Expertise in programming languages such as VB, Python etc is added advantage
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, and comfortable discussing technical issues
