The Risk division is responsible throughout the Group for management and control of all credit, market and operational risks, and the function of the Risk division consists of managing, reinforcing, and protecting the Bank s capital, integrity, and reputation by making a solid structure and supportive infrastructure available.

Non-Financial Risk Management (NFRM) is responsible for determining the regulatory and economic capital for operational risks. In addition, the department supports Management risk decisions by preparing analyses and reports, validates the approaches and methods used in the OR division (in quantitative and qualitative terms) and verifies business inputs through quality assurance.

The Product Governance team (1) provides independent challenge to both Business and Infrastructure functions within the approval processes, (2) ensures consistency of application of the Product Governance Framework. The Product Governance team is also responsible for the reporting and escalation of key portfolio trends and significant transactions and related risks to senior 1st and 2nd Line of Defence across the DB group. The team also have the responsibility to ensure compliance with the Information Security Policy and is also responsible for the relevant systems user access management, user acceptance testing, system maintenance and documentation.

Your key responsibilities

  • Engage with the stakeholders from business / infrastructure functions to clarify/resolve any issues encountered in the application workflow related to user access, information updates reference data updates etc.
  • Preparation of regular / adhoc reports / management information required as part of the Product Governance framework governance
  • Independent execution of the existing tasks and documentation according to directives and within existing general framework conditions and compliance with arranged Service Level Agreements
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline processes proactively and implementing them.
  • Engage and participate in activities to support the global/strategic initiatives and priorities.
  • Support development of IT requirements to automate data models as part of the strategic solution and perform user acceptance testing
  • Co-ordination and preparing responses for auditors / regulators
  • Maintain process documentation - user manuals, desktop procedures, key operating procedures
  • Willingness to work in shifts

Your skills and experience

  • Experience in risk management, knowledge of financial products, control background
  • Capacity to grasp complex concepts and present them in an appropriate manner to the target audience
  • Prior experience in banking or IT related area especially with system administration and/or user access management
  • Experience with audit related queries or regulatory requirements is beneficial
  • Creative thinker with ability to challenge and enhance the status quo and develop new solutions
  • Analytical skills (incl. detail orientation), flexible approach with problem solving focus
  • Strong (senior) stakeholder engagement experience and ability to cooperate across a global team as well as across a diverse group of cross functional stakeholders
  • Advanced working knowledge of word, power point, excel and VBA.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
