Roles and Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with internal customers to establish the design brief, including the concept, performance and production criteria.
2. Collaborate cross functionally with Product Management, Engineering teams to generate outstanding design solutions and extend support to CFT throughout the product development lifecycle.
3. Creates a culture of rapid idea generation and viability assessment, to shift the boundaries of thinking.
4. Guides and mentors the team to create high quality design concepts and compelling presentations for stakeholders.
5. Maintain a forward understanding of design and consumer trends and standard methodologies.
6. Make informed and pragmatic tradeoffs across design objectives, engineering constraints, and business needs.
7. Timely review the work output of the team members and guide them to push their performance.
8. 3D CAD modelling, Renderings, 2D Drawings, CAE Analysis, BOM and Design releases.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Essential Qualification: Industrial Design PG / UG from institutes like NID, IDC IIT Bombay, CPDM ISC Bangalore/ MIT/ Srishti
• Desired Qualification: MDES/ BDES
• Experience: BDes 2years min and MDes fresher
• Background of Mechanical Engineering is preferred for Masters in Industrial design.
• Industry Preference: Experience in Industrial products design and consumer products is desirable
