Roles and Responsibilities
About Udaan:
Udaan is a B2B ecommerce platform that brings traders, wholesalers, distributors, retailers, and manufacturers in India on to a single platform. Our goal is to make ‘doing business’ easy in India & make B2B commerce convenient and efficient.
Udaan Capital
MSME financing is a $380 Bn opportunity as per the World Bank. However, less than 10% of MSMEs have access to working capital loans from FIs and a majority of MSMEs receive invoice credit from their suppliers. A trade platform like udaan is uniquely positioned to formalize & scale trade credit.
Udaan Capital is bridging this gap by offering credit products for buyers and seller on and off the udaan platform.
Job Responsibilities
Managing end to end credit collection life cycle (Field allocation- disputes – payment reconciliation- settlement – agencies relationship)
Managing line activation, suspension & re-activation on timely basis
Provide resolution for field & agency queries within defined TAT.
Track various metrics related to collections.
Vendor relationship management

Process Adherence & Improvement- Record keeping, SOP adherence, audits and compliance
Managing TAT – Manage TAT and lifecycle of the customer.
Customer Service – Manage customer & other internal stakeholder queries & escalations.
Metrics Reporting – Timely metrics reporting with respect to collections and line activations.
Functional competencies
Customer Centricity: Resolve any customer queries and escalations to provide a smooth experience
Stakeholder Management: Proactive coordination with stakeholders to meet defined TAT and smooth processing of a loan file.
Cross-functional Integration: Coordinate with internal teams to maximize efficiency
Operational Excellence: Work towards continuous improvement of existing processes
Candidate Profile
Qualification required: Graduate (full-time)
Experience in loan & collection servicing in BFSI or Fintech industry preferred
Should have 2-4 years of experience in managing end to end loan & collections operations for SME and other retail lending products like business loans or mortgages
Should have experience in managing teams, shared services operations and outsourced operations etc.
Should be expert in MS office especially excel. Beginner skills in SQL shall be preferred.
Vendor management experience would be preferred.
Working knowledge around KYC, AML, compliance, payment Instrument, state laws and contract laws, etc. is preferred
