Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to:

You will be part of The Monitoring and Analytics (MA) business that resides in the Connected Care business cluster. MAis a software and solutions business encompassing patient monitoring and its capabilities. Our MA solutions reach more than 370 million people every year. 

Our advanced intelligence platforms provide clinicians with information when and where they need it so that they can make smart decisions. Our ultimate priority is to enable caregivers, administrators and patients to make decisions that support better health, increase efficiency, and control costs.

You are responsible for:

  • Design and develop a graphical user interface application software for the Patient Monitoring business category.
  • Collaborate and work closely with other areas like R&D, Marketing, Clinical testing and Hardware departments.
  • Hands-on development in creating rich graphical UI applications using OpenGL, WebGL, Qt Framework, HTML5 technologies that run on Embedded RTOS, Microsoft Windows or Linux environments depending on product or application.
  • Assimilate system requirements.
  • Own the design (high level and detailed) of the system.
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software
  • Ensure quality by writing developer-level tests (unit, component, automation, etc.)
  • To take up any technical challenge and resolve it through the right solution.
  • Works with engineers and other team members for quality and timely deliveries.
  • Creates products according to the specifications and software development process
  • Create engineering documentation to comply with product development policies, practices, and procedures
  • Interacts effectively with other functions (verification, Quality, regulatory, project management) for the success of the project

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • 2 to 9 years strong programming experience in C++/C# or another object-oriented language
  • Experience with animation, 2D/3D graphic or gameplay programming is a strong plus
  • Basic knowledge in design and implementation of GUI or rendering algorithms (2D, 3D) is a strong plus.
  • Build application software to function across multiple platforms (preferably on Embedded Systems and various hardware platforms) is a strong plus.
  • Exposure to UI automation tools (python scripting, Squish etc.,) is a strong plus.
  • Experience in medical domain is a plus
  • Self-dependent, analytical, problem-solving skills and goal oriented working style
  • Good communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment, loves to work in a team
