Roles and Responsibilities

1. Evaluate and test new or change software programs and software development procedures used to verify that programs function according to user requirements and confirm to established guidelines.
2. Participate in feature development from concept to design to construction in order to drive quality into not only the software application, but also the culture of the organization
3. Plan, design, and author effective test cases.
4. Develop automated test scripts and integrate your automations into test suites.
5. Identify differences between established standards and user applications and suggest modifications to conform to standards.
6. Adapt to new Testing software that the company might decide to use.
7. Test implementations/integrations with third party platforms.
8. Monitor program performance after implementation to prevent reoccurrence of program operating problems and ensure efficiency of operation.

Desired Profile

1. Experience with reviewing requirements and developing test cases / test scenarios based on those requirements.
2. Excellent verbal and written communication.
3. Experience in Test /Defect management tool like HP QC, JIRA, Bugzilla
4. Creation of the requisite test bed for test execution
5. Experience in Regression, Sanity, Smoke, Alpha & Beta.
6. Proficiency in the defect lifecycle / tracking defect to its logical closure
7. Expertise in execution Test Scenarios/ Test Cases / Scripts / Procedures.
8. Exposure to BFSI or CRM domain is an advantage.
