Job Description

• Provide Technical support for diagnosing
• Fixing Solaris Hardware and Solaris Operating Environment issues/problems, SVM & Vx VM issues
• Responsible for managing Server related Incidents/Service Requests and Change Requests within the defined SLA.
• High level of proficiency in Solaris OS administration and Troubleshooting
• Perform necessary Solaris infrastructure maintenance activities, as required.
• Required to work as on-call support to provide 24x7 support"

Job Requirements:

• Good knowledge on Solaris Operating Environment (Solaris 8,9,10 &11) and best practices to maintain Solaris Environment.
• Good knowledge on Solaris administration tasks.
• Good knowledge on VCS and VxVm.
• Good knowledge of hardware.
• Good knowledge of Infrastructure components like Back and Recovery, Storage, Network .
• Good troubleshooting skills. .
• Good knowledge on Unix Shell Scripting.
