AR Caller Hospital Billing Specialist

Key Responsibilities: 1. Perform outbound calls to insurance companies (payer calls) to resolve claims issues. 2. Work on hospital billing claims (UB-04), including inpatient, outpatient, and ER services. 3. Follow up on pending claims and initiate appeals or corrections as needed. 4. Analyze EOBs/ERAs to identify and resolve underpayments, denials, or rejections. 5. Document call outcomes and actions in the billing system accurately. 6. Meet daily and weekly productivity and quality targets (claims worked, resolution rate, etc.). 7. Collaborate with the internal billing and coding teams to resolve issues. 8. Maintain compliance with HIPAA and company guidelines.
